I keep my promises, especially on my birthday.

This weekend was the seriously the best. It being my birthday weekend, anything I wanted, happened. Lol…. Well sort of.

Friday afternoon, Alyssa, Ada, and I went to SLC. We stopped by Anthropologie, where Alyssa bought me 8 bowls I’ve been wanting, one in every color. See…. They're super cute and I can now stop running out of bowls in my apartment.

Friday night, started 3 nights of whatever I wanted! Well, since I was picking dinner Saturday, I told Jake to pick dinner, so after Olive Garden, we went to my pick of a movie. I had contemplated this quite a bit. Jake said, “pick something you know I wouldn’t go to if it weren’t your birthday, because after this weekend I won’t.” So I really had only one choice, Hannah Montana the Movie. I know it seems mean to put a boy through that, but I couldn’t help myself, I really wanted to see it. And come on, when else was I going to get him to take me to that? Seriously? So after he shamefully asked for 2 tickets to Hannah Montana (and yes the ticket girl totally laughed at him) we went. 2 words: So GOOD! Yes people, I’m serious. This movie made me laugh and cry. It has great music and you leave just feeling happy. Jake even admitted that he loved it! It is so worth $8.50! I want to see it 100 more times.

Saturday involved downloading the Hannah Montana Movie soundtrack and listening to it on repeat for several hours. Yes, I know its country, but the movie makes it acceptable…or GREAT! Later on that day, Jake took me to Color Me Mine. It’s a pottery store where you paint pottery and then they fire it. I have wanted to go there for some time, so I was really excited. Unfortunately the Earnest perfection gene took over, so it took me 2 ½ hours to paint a bowl. This meant the restaurant I had picked, Thai Ruby, was closed for dinner. Bummer, but it was worth it to get my bowl perfect. Anyway dinner was fun and good and that was that. Great birthday eve!

Sunday my actual birthday I went to church, Jake and I had lunch, and then we had the awesome cake Morgan made me. I opened my presents! Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa, Jann and Alan, and Mom and Dad! Mom and Dad gave me a gift certificate for a sewing machine, which I already went and picked up. Guess what I am doing the rest of the day? Ha. Sunday night, Morgan and I went to Salt Lake and saw Wicked at the Capital Theater! That was probably the best part of my birthday. The show was so amazing. The acting and singing was unbelievable too. I was quite in my element.

Well that was my awesome weekend! Thanks to everyone for the Birthday messages!
