I am in California.

I drove to California on Sunday to stay with Brooke and her family for a little while. We're already having fun. Yesturday Brooke helped me sew my first skirt. I will post a picture when it's complete. And today were going shopping in Santa Barbara! Plus it is 100x warmer here, then in Utah! Here is a photo of new baby Jack and me.
Oh and here is Brooke and me at Home Town Buffet :(

Valentines Gift

I made this cute box and cupcakes for Valentines Day. I thought they were so cute.
I got the idea from the book, Hello Cupcake. I think it turned out pretty good!

Valentines Dance

Last night my ward had a Semi-Formal Valentines Day Dance. They set up everyone with someone from the ward, so it was way fun. They served us dinner, took 'prom pictures', and taught us some dance moves by these swing dancers. We had a really fun time! Here are some photos!

Boot Camp Continues

So, last week we did it. Everyday we worked out and did everything we planned on, and somehow..... I gained 1 pound. hmmmm. Well I am mixing this up! Now I will be working out 2 times a day plus strength training, and moderating my diet much more. It is going to be hard, but worth it.

Boot Camp

My roommate Morgan and I are on a huge adventure. It's formally named, "Morgan and Chelsea's Weight Loss Adventures!" (I wanted to name it, "plan", but Morgan said we had to get excited about it, and the first step was with the name.) Anyway, every Sunday (we started yesterday) we plan what we're going to do, like what classes we're going to at Gold's. Today we had planned to go to Kickboxing, which I have done lots and really enjoy. Well, what we saw was more than we ever expected. We walked into a completely packed room, full of very very fit men and woman wearing punching gloves ( I guess that's what you would call them), with a huge punching bag next to each of them. Needless to say we were totally out of our element, completely intimidated and lacking the seemingly necessary punching gloves. We slowly backed out of the room, and did an hour of cardio on our own. We decided we will go to the class another time, but when we could get there early and chat with the instructor (I think we're going Saturday.)

After the hour of cardio, Morgan dragged me over to work on strength training. We almost died. Right in the middle of the workout, Morgan turns to me and says, 'Doesn't this make you feel so empowering?".... I replied, "Maybe after a few days, right now I feel like I am dying." But we did it, one day down and so many more to go. We're working out 1.5-2 hours a day Monday-Saturday. Boot camp is ON!!

P.S. I am already sore.
