OH YEAH!

So 1 year to the day, I got an actual job. Not like a Shopko job, but a really good one! Finally! I am now the Director of Business Development for a local company. I start in a week and I am so excited for the new experience and definite challenge that I know it will be. I'm also so excited to be more independent again with my soon to have financial freedom. PLus it's a block from my apartment, how convenient? Oh, and yes I am going to keep the Shopko job too and work nights and weekends. I actually really enjoy it there.

Anyway, that's the big news! Booya booya!

I got a job... for now.

Yes, it's true. After almost a year, I finally landed myself a job. Now, before you get too excited let me tell you, it's a seasonal job and it's part-time and It's at Shopko. Not my dream come true for my career, but it's a job and I am not picky right now. I am excited to have somewhere to go and something to do! I start this on Monday. Wahoo!

I am in California.

I drove to California on Sunday to stay with Brooke and her family for a little while. We're already having fun. Yesturday Brooke helped me sew my first skirt. I will post a picture when it's complete. And today were going shopping in Santa Barbara! Plus it is 100x warmer here, then in Utah! Here is a photo of new baby Jack and me.

Reality Hits

I am back in Utah now. Christmas was lots of fun in Oregon. It was nice to have one last bit of fun, before the inevitable reality of having to find a job hit. I've been looking. I promise! But I havent found really anything I want. So until I find that job, I am just here, writing this. (lets be honest, the only reason I'm writing this is because I don't want to go to the gym :))
