Wednesday

Wednesday is the big day! I start my job. I'm excited and not excited. That's all.

Thursday, November 12, 2009

OH YEAH!

So 1 year to the day, I got an actual job. Not like a Shopko job, but a really good one! Finally! I am now the Director of Business Development for a local company. I start in a week and I am so excited for the new experience and definite challenge that I know it will be. I'm also so excited to be more independent again with my soon to have financial freedom. PLus it's a block from my apartment, how convenient? Oh, and yes I am going to keep the Shopko job too and work nights and weekends. I actually really enjoy it there.

Anyway, that's the big news! Booya booya!

Love Chels

Toilet 2

To all the concerned ones out there, my phone is back in the living. A bag of rice is just the trick for those things. woot woot.

My Version

I have been following a blog for the last several months for the, Bijou Market, a great site that features local artists, designers, crafters and creatives galore. Well, a couple times a year, they actually have the market, where those who were featured, plus many more, sell there products. I had been anxiously awaiting this market for many months and it finally arrived last weekend. Alyssa and I went and found so many cute things. So many cute things that I can make all by myself. So I didn't buy a thing, instead i went home and got to work. My favorite thing from the market were the bib necklaces. This one in particular:

(It's from this great site, where you can find even more cute things.)

Well, here is my version!

I pretty much love it. I opted for a different sized bow. That's the great thing about making things yourself, you get them just how you want them. I still have so many more things to make! Gotta get workin!

Toilets

I dropped my phone in the toilet today. It's in a bag of rice, being resuscitated. It's still touch and go.

Golly.

Moments

My great friend Erin, passed this on to me today, via her new blog. It was so amazing and emotional for me, so I thought I would pass it on again.

Check out William Hoffman's site too.
