My legs can now fall off

Today being the tradition that it is, meant waking up at 3:55 am, leaving at 4:15 am and arriving at Fred Meyers at 5:00 am! We went straight for the socks..... which we founds lots and lots of. We started out in great moods... SEE!......


But after 2 1/2 hours in 1 store, looking at every single thing possible, it's needless to say, we ended up feeling like this...


After lotzzzzzz of Diet Coke, we were chipper again, no worries. We had so much success and I think Erin loved her first Black Friday (well most of it).

Extended Vacation....

Well hello there.........

Since I have so much free time on my hands these days, I've decided to make the most of it. So besides getting all my dental work done before my insurance ends, I will be traveling out of Utah for basically the rest of the year. Here is the downlow for all the know its.

Nov. 26 - Dec. 2 = Oregon, for Turkey Day and festivities, (including Mattie and Lauren's BDAY, woot woot.) Also my favorite friend, Erin LC, will be joining from Seattle! We're most excited for Black Friday and devirginifying Erin in that.

Dec. 3 - Dec. 18 = California! I know my favorite place. I'm going most importantly for Maggie's Baptism, her birthday, Harry's birthday, and because I just love visiting everyone! It will most likly = dream come true, in warm weather.

Dec. 19 - Jan 5 (or so) = Oregon again. With a hopeful stop in Seattle for New Years Eve, where shenanigans are sure to occur. Christmas will be a grand affair, I'm quite sure of it.

Unfortunately, I must return to Utah between each and everyone of these trips! I know, sucks to be me. ha. NOT! I'm going on vacation for like a month and a half!

So all you jealous worker people, don't hate me,
It's my rough life. :)

Z is for Chelsea?

So a few weeks ago I was strolling through the magazine section in Harmon's and came across Nylon Magazine, one of my favorites. I decided to buy it because Zooey Deschanel was the cover story and I love her band, She and Him. I read through it, looked through all the pictures... and then realized something. I kinda look like her... I started taking a poll. I asked my coworkers and friends, "Who does she look like?" Every response was "YOU!" and then some varying disbelief on how much I resembled her (except for the whole part on how she is ridiculously skinny). Needless to say my new nickname is Zooey.

It's Tragic Really...

Yes, I am tragically already bad at blogging. There are many reasons for this:

a) My laptop broke.
b) I'm busy.

...that's pretty much it. LAME...

Lets catch up in BRIEF detail.

1) I went to Oregon. Purposes were multiple but included: Jake coming home from his mission, Andy and Heather's Cowboy Wedding, and not having been home in 10 months.
p.s. at the wedding I saw a black cowboy, which I thought was like an oxymoron, nope... they exist and its sorta really awesome.

2) Jeep is done. Yup, my jeep is done. It isn't dead or anything, but my parents gave me their Toyota Camry, since they just bought a new car. I love the Jeep (or as I call him, Mr. Jeepy), but the Toyota (still unnamed, any suggestions?) is much more efficient in all ways. So, if anyone wants a jeep, let me know.

3) I cook. I'm a cooker. I spend time cooking food. (anyone who knows me well knows this is big, because I love fast-food, especially MC Donald's.)

4) DRAMATICS. My friends and roommates amuse me. Crazy things happen! The latest? A friend found out her divorced boyfriend is actually her married boyfriend. I really cannot elaborate, but his wife called her and it immediately ended. Oh the lives of singles!

5) Project Runway... and others. TV has started again! Well its always been on, but good TV has started. My favorite being Project Runway. Alyssa kindly records it for me every week, since I don't have Bravo. It's so addictive. Other must watches: Gossip Girl, The Hills, 90210, ANTP, and Ugly Betty.

6) Work. I spend most of my time there. It's awesome really.

7) I wrote a song. Well at this point it might be a poem, since there is no music, but it's meant to be a song. Next purchase: guitar. (i can learn!)

8) Fall Fashion. The weather is changing here, its bittersweet. The sweet part you ask? The change in my attire. I get to wear sweaters and boots, and scarves and cute hats now. I do love my fall/winter wardrobe much more than the other, so I'm spending lots of time working that.

9) Dreams... I kept having this same dream over and over for like 3 weeks... it finally ended. It wasn't a scary dream, but I'm glad it's over. My dreams have this weird way of coming true, I hope not this time.

10) I have something planned. It's gonna be awesome. You will find out... soon.
