Engagement Pix
Tay and I had engagement pictures last week. We went to downtown Gilbert, which has old fashioned charm. Our photographers were so fun and we had a great time. Here are a few, click on them to see the rest of the album.

90's Party
Last weekend was one of my best friends B-day party. He decided to have a costume party, inspired by the 90's. The hardest part was fluffing my bangs. Loved it. Totes. Here's the pics.
i look like i did in 1st grade. todd said i looked like the old Chelsea. amber said i looked like i did in their wedding pics. and the kids all made fun of me and didn't get it. what's not to get? we looked good back then, gosh.

felt food
What is with the felt food craft craze? I don't get why you would want felt food when you could have the real thing.
Is it for little kids to play with? Or to decorate.
I really don't get it. I admit it is cute though.

Boots.
my feet hurt. i shouldn't wear boots to work, no matter how cute they are.
Speaking of work, it's going great! I love it actually. Most days I work very early, like 5am. So the night before I have to go to bed super early. It's really hard to do that. It's like there is this silent countdown in my head, telling me if I don't fall asleep now, I'll only get x amount of hours of sleep. On and on it goes in my head. It's totally frustrating.
The great thing about working so early is that I get off in the early afternoon. I'm trying to teach my body to power through and not nap, but lets get real, I get kinda grouchy.
Work is a bit dangerous as well, because I want to buy everything.

My Perspective
Yesterday I started my job. I was in the back the entire day doing reading and paperwork until the last 20 minutes when I got to go out on the floor. In that 20 minutes I saw so many weird people and situations. People are weird, myself included.

Anyway later that night I was telling a friend about how the first day went. I told him how excited I was because in just 20 minutes I had seen so many weird, happy, mean, cool, crazy people, and if I could see that in just 20 minutes imagine what I could see during an entire day! (I'm really being sincere) Anyway, he responded by telling me he really liked and appreciated my attitude and perspective about it. And it wasn't until then that I realized I could have thought "what a crappy day in just 20 minutes I had to deal with a bunch of crazy customers." But I didn't!
So why post this? Because our attitude and perspective about things is so important! It really can change everything about our day and our lives.
Life is good, my mind is made up about it.

Update!
Yes, I know it has been so long. I missed you too.
Christmas was so amazing! I had such a fun time with my family. I love how wonderful, supportive and fun my family is. 2009 was definitely the hardest year of my life and my family helped me through it, every step of the way. I'm so excited for this year, because it has to be better. Seriously...!
Speaking of better things, I moved to Arizona!! Yup, I moved in with Todd, Amber and all their kids. They're so kind and took me in and I am really loving it. My new ward is so amazing, everyone I meet is so "normal" , I already feel a part of everything, and the weather is nothing to complain about either. I finally feel like things are moving in the right direction and that my life is only going to get better.
During this time I have also realized how grateful I am for my Father in Heaven and my Savior Jesus Christ. When everything was a mess, I gave all my burdens to the Lord and he helped me get over them and push through. I feel so blessed. He lessened the pain of so many things and I came out the other end of everything with a bright view for the future.
Now, onto getting a J-O-B! I say it's high time I had one for goodness sakes.
Ta-ta for now. Hope you're well, wherever you are these days.
